When I worked as a service advisor I would check your pressures, fill your tires, and reset your light right there on the drive. We had an overhead chuck for this very purpose.

If one tire was lower than the rest I would strongly recommend you let us fix it. Usually worked.

Service intervals seem to be settling around 10k/1yr. And I'm ok with it. Feels like a good balance to me.
