Thank you to Wayne Willson and his band of moderators for keeping this a place of civility and respect so we can discuss oil and all the other topics that interest us without the coarseness and open hostility so common on so many other forums. The work you put in behind the scene to keep this place running is much appreciated. Herding cats probably isn't even close with this diverse group of people.

Thank you and have a great 2025. Oops.

I do not belong to any other web groups. No social media type things. I had just noticed over the years, every time I was seeking different automotive, lubrication subjects that a certain site, BITOG would pop up with lots of very good comments , discussions and almost always what info I was seeking. This is what encouraged me to join. What has encouraged me to continue is how very well the site is managed. Gotta be due to the great "behind the curtain" Moderators and Administrators. I am sure their job is not easy and is pretty thankless and "out of sight out of mind."
So thanks to them all for keeping BITOG a good and interesting place that is very enjoyable.
BITOG seems to have lots of good , interesting members that for me is easy to care about even though we are all just keyboard acquaintances. Thanks Admins & Mods for a good place to share, ask, learn and simply enjoy.

All of us mods have a monthly call to discuss "how do we make BITOG better?" We need moderation, not too much and not too little, but just the right amount. You can't believe how difficult it is to do it just right every time. We have the best moderators on the planet. The thoughtfulness and insights from all the mods on the monthly call is really amazing. There have been many times that I thought we would do something a certain way and one or more of the mods bring in another prospective that completely changes my mind. We also have implemented changes that were suggested by members. Your opinion does matter and we do listen. If you suggest something to one of the mods, that suggestion immediately goes into the agenda for the next mod's call. We may or may not implement the suggestion, but you can bet that it will be considered.

Thank a mod for all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes here.

Let's have a great 2025!
