Testing oil filter with glitter to see filtering capabilities

This is a very ignorant statement. How do you think that grinding is being accomplished?
How is it "very ignorant" when its based purely on observations?
How is the grinding happening?
I don't know I don't care and if I did there's no way to stop it as it appears to be natural wear.
How many used oil samples have you looked at under a microscope?

Because you stated it as a benefit. If the engine is grinding up larger particles, well…

I didn't say it was a benefit. Idk where you got that from.
Problem is I don't ever see particles larger than 5 microns from healthy small engines with no filter. I'm assuming they started out larger than what I find and that they're almost immediately ground up smaller or they started off that size.
