Absolutely. The astroturfing that we're seeing against HCs is so artificial and poorly thought out and I wonder how far the charade of scientific ignorance (and the exploitation of such) can really carry on for.

Probably, wonder if we'll ever get fusion powered cars. Next step beyond that would be anti-matter, most efficient fuel source out there, just very expensive to make right now.

Given that fusion is always 30 years out we'd be more likely to end up with fission powered cars. An SMR the size of a pressure cooker would likely be more than sufficient.
