Tesla parts ordering getting on my nerves.

I bought into BYD car and battery division but I wouldn't want own one either.
Nothing wrong with making money on companies you don't like or companies that sell products you don't like. I enjoy buying Tesla put spreads. I can't stand MSFT but have held onto it for decades.

Apparently driving is over yours, so you need iPad to do it for you.
OP is talking about parts frustration, but as usual, your response is: let me tell you about XYZ.
I added to his post; Tesla procurement issues are well documented.
Perhaps work on your reading comprehension?

I have an iPad, but only use it while traveling as I prefer Chromebooks for everyday use.

What that has to do with OTA? Absolutely irrelevant to the fact that Tesla cannot do basic thing other companies can. That is the issue here.
And only in a cult people are eager for someone else to decide what their car will do when they wake up. But ordering cabin filter? Ah, who cares. Maybe less focus on iPad functions and more on fundamentals.

In support of the thread, I was discussing the way Tesla does not wait until a new model year to update their cars. This is done through OTA and ECO; sometimes a combination of both. Is that so hard to understand?

This is a forum; it is for discussion. But I will agree Tesla owners are often cult-like in their love for the cars. They are that good, warts and all. You can say the same for many other makes as well.

You have a lot to offer, but your thoughts and opinions are not the only ones. The Tesla hate is childish; if you don't like Tesla, or any car, don't buy one.

I generally have an issue giving people like Musk any cent, bcs. goes against basic human principles.
Byt, as you said, it is forum.
As far as how good they are, again:

Glad to see you have elevated your comments from childish. Well done!

Fundamentals before OTA!
The quality goes in before the name goes on..... ;) Remember that saying back in the day? That doesn't appear to be the case here.

You can dismiss this as much as you want. That is today fundamental problem TESLA has. But, keep lying yourself, enjoy OTA.
Back to childish comments. Disappointing...
ETA is amazing, by the way. Teslas are software based enabling OTA functionality. Other makes will get there one day.

Lol. Well, i get it. A lot of people don’t see those issues as problematic. Benn the case before. Who cares about AfD etc.
back to “serious “ conversation. Maybe they will. One they Tesla might check Merriam-Webster for meaning of control arms.

Some good examples of Tesla engineering, it is very poor at best and downright dangerous at worst. The thing I will never understand is why the cars these things happen to many of the owners willingly take the blame and still praise Tesla and continue to worship at the idol of the idiot savant. These are some the worst cars ever tested by TÜV. Edyvw I added you pic to the Tesla engineering wall of shame if you don't mind. LOL

No one is saying this is fine. I’ve never seen it and you only seem to share the same pictures.

  • J.D. Power
In 2023, J.D. Power included Tesla in its U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) for the first time, and Tesla scored 242 PP100, which was higher than the top-ranked models. However, a 2023 J.D. Power Initial Quality Study found that problems with Tesla's driver assistance features had increased year over year.

I don't understand this onerous parts purchasing system at all and why they have it like this. I signed up for a business account and everything has to be ordered online. Ok, no big deal. But then it has to be shipped to you. I have three Tesla dealers within 20 minutes of me so why can't I just pick up the part like every other make does, instead of wait probably a week or more to have it delivered?

It's just a simple cabin filter for my two 2013 S's. But the stupidest thing is that I have to make a separate order for each car. I can't just order TWO filters at once. I have to order a filter under one VIN and then another one under the second VIN and pay two $8.26 shipping charges. May have to reevaluate future deals. I wanted to like the cars, and I do, but no other brand has this annoying system of parts support.
Do you know if these locations even stock the part? Does Tesla have a parts counter at their locations?
