I have been shopping for pads and rotors for a 71 Chevelle. Rock Auto usually has what I want but I always shop Amazon. I found a rotor on Amazon for a very good price but I could only get one. The picture did not represent the actual part but the part number was what I was looking for. The order was going to take 6 days to arrive and it arrived in 6 days. The actual part shipped from a warehouse in the Chicago suburbs about 60 miles from me, was sent to Amazon in New Jersey and then sent to me. I just ordered the same rotor from Rock Auto so I will have a pair. It likely will ship from the same warehouse in the Chicago suburbs because I am supposed to have that one tomorrow. Just thinking out loud.

My experience with Amazon shipping has been odd, and not terribly reliable, from my viewpoint. Usually it takes a week to get nearly anything because I am not a Prime member, even if it comes out of their KC warehouse complexes. I would occasionally sign up for free Prime and never got anything within the two days that they kind of imply will happen. Consequently I assume anything I buy from Amazon will take a week to get to me, and plan accordingly.
