Tesla Model 3 vs BMW M3 video

According to another YouTuber who drives mostly high performance cars on Nürburgring the M3cs is the best daily driver that you can also drive on "The Ring" in stock form So you know what they say about opinions.

None of us are saying it isn't amazing. There's just one member who is all wound up about this comparison because Teslas are only appliances, yet apparently they're this good now. It's not a better daily if you're just getting A to B though on cost alone.

I'll call Tesla and tell them to remove my performance pack software because it's just an appliance so I don't need the front/rear bias control, track mode, or drift mode.

Stop quoting the video. He doesn't like their opinions. 🤣
He likes the iPad. So do I. The BMW will get there real soon. The Neue Klasse will be a tech marvel I'm sure.

Look familiar? iPad-ish maybe?

You know I've bashed modern BMW styling saying the M3 just isn't quite it in the front end. I'm not sure this is it either. They just went large with the grills in the other direction and made it part of the light. It strikes me as if they brought Oldsmobile back and this was the new Cutlass.

I'm glad to see Oldsmobile designers are back at work.

The clear winner here is the Toyota. .04 off the Tesla is just not worth considering. Toyota has real interior also. And it’s a BMW in disguise.
Not according to the video. It clearly states the Tesla is the clear winner.

The Supra is a great car, but is a cramped 2 seater. It is a sports car; this video is comparing sports sedans.
The M3 and M3P are much more powerful cars. The Supra is a slow 0-60 and qtr mile car in comparison to the sedans, but great on this track like the 2 sedans.
It would make a decent daily for a sports car. Of course 2 seaters are not generally known as great dailys. Being a BMW, total cost of ownership is likely to be pretty high.

The clear winner for each of us depends on what we want. The Supra GS 3.0 a great appliance with a specific use case.

Sure. Did you read my post #46? Let me repeat...

"Probably the best car in the world."
Tesla has a better ride.
"The BMW is a little numb. The Tesla steering is better weighted and it's got a quicker rack."

"What did Tesla get wrong? Nothing."
What happened in the end?

Your performance pack can only do one lap. You should actually measure performance based on the endurance pack.
The performance pack in Tesla is like in and out in 5sec.

That thing is going to go over like a fart in church looking like that, thankfully they will also be ICE powered.

Amazing how you can predict the future. Maybe you should share your thoughts with BMW if you think they need your help?
The Neue Klasse will be an amazing car, I'm sure.
I heard about the ICE option a while back. The only problem I see is, that makes it a compromise. The article raises the same point.

The article also refers to the current BMW look... I tend to agree. Glad they decided to move away from it towards the Tesla designs.

Ok.

1) I guess you missed the story of the of the brand new EVs on a Kia lot in Florida that burned during the hurricane with the window stickers still in them. It's only Teslas though... Kias don't have vents, right? Batteries don't need to be vented...

2) As far as I understood on this issue some Model 3s and Model Ss have suffered from this from road impacts. I lost a transmission cooler line this way on a Jaguar.

3) F Bodies are probably the worst examples of this. My 3rd gen was a hint questionable too. Our 1996 240SX wasn't great either. I think that was due to the fact that the window didn't retract and then reseal tighter by rolling up into the seal on any of these cars. It wasn't an option on my 1991 Camaro, it had hand crank windows.
Link to thr FL ev6s?

I'd say the CTR is. A fwd civic...from the factory...

I posted the results of the video, which was the question posted to me. You resort to hyperbole. Pretty weak.
Results are pretty clear: BMW M3 is a far better performing vehicle.
Other things are nothing but opinion.

You are confusing data and opinions. There are bunch of people who think that Camry is by far the best vehicle, including a bunch of test drivers etc.

You don’t have to be upset they didn’t choose your winner. Cammisa said we all had our minds figured out before we watched it. He was correct.
