How are things going down there now?

I was planning on going to Nashville next week (driving across the US trying to help out the industry (hotels, restaurants and such) and was wondering once I leave Memphis should I just go across to Huntsville then Chattanooga on our way to Pigeon Forge.

With all the flooding in the area, I doubt they would be in any condition to have vistors around.

Sorta selfish I know... Hopefully things will be better sooner than later.

Take care, bill

Nashville wants visitors! the city needs the tourism dollars!

If you hang out on Broadway to watch some artists or go to the Ryman you'll be just fine. The Opry is being held at various locations around town.

Stop by Jacks' BBQ on Broadway and pickup yourself some brisket. no, not the brisket meal, just a pound or two of brisket, in a big container. It's the best stuff on the planet that I have had.

have a safe trip, and spends lots of $$ here in Nashville! :)
