Terminator Two - Judgement Day

Aside from everything else it was a precursor for, this movie was the very first one that nailed CGI as a good enough reality. There's not a single glitch, or a "this could've been done better".
I chuckle at the idea that "The Lawnmower Man" was made an year later. Check what passed for CGI in that one 😊

The best line in T2 was “ Hasta la Vista baby” when Arnie did in the Cyborg.
"Come with me if you want to live"

I was very young when my sister played all of her rated R movies including this one in the early 1990's with no supervision when I'd visit her. However, I really enjoyed these Terminators & back to the future. I remember the Kevin bacon movie too where the weird giant worms come up from the ground. 😅

Here's another few that I shouldn't have been watching. No where to run (Jean-Claude Van damme), The Fly (Jeff Goldblum), & some others like Lawnmower Man (Jeff Fahey).

I heard Terminator 7 may happen?

I think T2 was a better movie than T2. There is humor, great story telling and of course great special effects. I think it did a great job at completing the story from the first movie while being totally original, which is something people like. And that’s why the following terminator movies were a total flop. There was nothing more or original to add, it was a T2 formula packaged differently.

The first one, just like with the Alien, is dark, gritty and the story telling is more mysterious, which was probably done by design by Cameron.

It’s funny how everyone loved Robocop and Terminator but if you go back Robocop feels like the Temu terminator even though it’s a fun bit of over the top 80’s violence nonsense.

Best line in Tremors; Someone asks Burt Gummer why he has cannon fuse. I knew the answer to that and managed to answer before Burt, "For the cannon."

I could never decide exactly what the firearm Burt finished off the rec room invader with was. Either a 4 bore or 2 bore elephant gun.
