Temporary window sealant for ACs

Has anyone found a sealant that works for temporary seasonal use in closing gaps for window AC units? I'm talking about 1/8" or so gaps that the foam you pack in doesn't do well for. I tried latex caulk last season, which worked great, but was terrible to remove. I was thinking something along the line of a gasket cement that peels away, preferably applied via caulk gun.

Any ideas?
Thanks.

Get this specialty caulk from Home Depot. It is specifically designed for your intended application.

I didn't realize such a specialty caulk existed. I think I will give that a try.

As for the tape foam, I have used that before but I'm trying to seal those little crevices between the metal AC case and the sliding window filler shutters. I also have a big unit that seems to end up with a slightly bowed bottom case, so another odd spot to fill. A liquid/caulk was my first thought.
