That was my thought too. I had a pad delaminate on a front rotor once, instant metal on metal. As I was driving at the time I didn't have much of a choice in the matter... but once the piston pushed out (backing plate onto rotor), I thought the braking performance was not bad. Might be even better... but it got repaired in short order. Then your rotor is likely ruined already, there is no reason trying to save it and endanger yourself and others in the process.
I'll see if someone i know has a caliper guage since i don't. minimum thickness is 0.996” from https://www.dustyengineering.com/techtips/minimums.html . I'll take pic of pads and rotor tonightWouldn’t you know if you looked at it? Besides the fact that you hear that.

it doesn't pull right very much unless i brake hard. brake pedal is really stiff but i guess that'll happen when the fluid doesn't have anywhere to go on one wheelBolt in brake hose with thread tape so the brake fluid doesn’t leak out? Wow.
Be safe. Best of luck.
New brake hose will come with themNever reuse a banjo bolt washers. They'll leak.
I’ve driven friends cars with way worse issues
One of them is a moron and cut his rear brake hoses and drove around using the ebrake for a week, then he lost a quart of transmission fluid and destroyed the transmission. I don’t talk to him much anymoreinteresting friends . . . .
