Tell Me About BELDEN Plug Wires>??? PLEASE!

NAPA says they are a premium plug wire, that remains the FLAGSHIP of their line. I was just curious, if BELDEN can be confirmed, as a top-notch plug wire.

I installed a set of Belden wires on my 99 Sentra just a few weeks ago. They seem to be of good quality and were a pleasure to work with in getting them in. The only possible drawback I see at present is that there is a little bit of interference on AM radio with them. I, of course, installed the distributor cap, rotor and new factory specified spark plugs at the same time, so there could be some component other than just the wires giving static on the radio. The radio interference that came at the time I did this work isn't really bad. It's just barely there and I can hear it but I don't find it annoying enough to take the wires out. The car is running just beautifully.

High performance wires from accel or msd, if availible for your app, are the best you are going to get.

Belden has been around forever. They suplied wireing for GM for many years and still may.

They are best known for their communications radio coax cable. Go to a Ham or CB radio store and ask what cable they prefer to use and I bet they will say Belden.

I've used 4 sets over the years with good results. When I want quality/correct parts I always go to NAPA. It's worth paying a little more.

Got them on my Cherokee with some NGK plugs and everything is fine.

Belden is good quality. The OE quality Standard Motor Products wire sets are looking good as well.
