Really? These are your comments to me (and others) in the last week. Seems to me that you do go after people who don't agree with you and not only ask them to leave the site, but also the country.

Badtlc- What drama? The guy brought up a good point. You got something to say, say it nice, it's Christmas. Geezzzzzzz-RD

No, he doesn't have a point. Nobody in this thread has claimed it was important to only use a cleaner right before an oil change. That is demar making up claims to rile up the masses. He creates imaginary arguments.

It seems I'm in good company, perhaps you missed this earlier in the thread.

It looks like you're looking to create an argument. My point, and Trav's point were made so that members didn't make a mountain over a mole hill. Was Trav trying to rile the masses?

I just dump a bottle in when it needs it without worrying about the OCI.

I don't rely on them to tell me when to use it, let alone when I should change my oil. Of course they'd want me to use it every 3k and as 'maintenance' dosing in between full bottle treatments.

used oil analysis confirm it puts more insols in the oil. So...there is that. How much longer do you want to have an 'aggressive' cleaning that results in 'potentially' more crud for your engine to have filtered out or cause perhaps particle streaking?

For peace of mind, use it and change the oil.
thumbsup2.gif

Where's the data proving more insols. That's a filtration issue, nothing more.
And unless your rings are completely shot how do insols get into the oil. Gasses will of course get by the rings but your claiming that particulate does too.
Is this for real?
Got any evidence. And I'm not talking about marketing fluff or a single used oil analysis.
You've now run your mouth. Time to prove it.
Or is that asking too much?
If techron required an oil change do I need to change my oil every time I use chevron gas. Give your head a shake and loosen up some sense.

Why didn't you include your comments which lead me to reply the way I did?

Or mention all the other members who didn't care for your remarks?

SlimJim and I cleared things up, he's a class act. I doubt you and i will ever see eye to eye. Not unless you change your tone about the police, the country, our great military, and stop the religious pokes, but I doubt that'll ever happen.-RD

Merry Christmas bitog.

Could you please lighten up and chill out?

Maybe when I have more time I'll expound on my own opinion, and maybe you'll be more reasonable at that time.

Maybe you could re-read the bickering before my post between others. I gave a direct response to Frank's supposition. It is a valid one.

AND I don't believe using FSCs from a bottle or in marginal ways through top-tier fuels; including Chevron's, will cause problems or make an issue in of itself.

I did try to contribute and I have some reason to believe dosing in a dirty fuel system could loosen up crud that "CAN" in some percentage of cars in the world mix with your oil and it won't just be expelled. Insols are not just a by-product of oil breakdown. You know the combustion process and you yourself suppose if oil rings 'were shot' there could be some mixing/drainback.

I'm just trying to contribute, and no I don't have money to throw testing at this. It's a small scenario that most don't have to worry about. Gotta run, be back for more civil conversation later.

I don't know what point you are trying to prove aa1986, but anybody could have read the stuff you said and draw their own conclusions.

We surely do not have to go into all of this stuff again do we? I pointed out that those two cops who were murdered in their patrol car (and they were not even white cops but from minority groups) were murdered completely without any justification whatsoever and in cold blood. They were merely sitting in their patrol car. That was a terrible tragedy and I asked you if you could ever state that it was a terrible tragedy and it seemed you could not state that it was a terrible tragedy. Instead you made various other remarks that certainly did not indicate any sorry on your part about what happened to those two police officers.

You were trying to compare what was done by the USA to a handful of captured terrorists with what the Japanese did to prisoners of war in WWII. And then you gave us a lecture on Islam. Hopefully your qualifications to pontificate on Islam are better than your knowledge of history. It is quite a stretch to try to compare what the Japanese did in WWII with their prisoners and what they did to many other people in Asia and the Pacific with what was done to a handful of captured terrorists. As I pointed out (I think I am a little better with history than you) in China alone millions of people died under Japanese control.

I don't know what your qualifications are to discuss Islam but I took a religions of the world class in college which included studying Islam. The class was taught by a qualified college professor.

In the post about the woman killing herself and her children in Australia it was mentioned that she attended church right before she did what she did. One of your posts there was removed apparently by moderators here. Do you remember that post? I am not going to repeat it here because the moderators removed it. But I am sure a lot of guys here read what you said before it was removed. I would call that statement you made fairly anti-religious. And I will tell you right now it was I who notified the moderators. Because discussion of religion here is not allowed and I am a religious person and I am not going to sit by and do nothing when somebody implies that religion caused that woman to kill herself and her children.

And here you are AGAIN trying to get people riled up. All of the posts that rockydee made seemed reasonable to me. Anybody here can read what he said. One of YOUR posts was apparently removed by moderators. One of YOUR posts was removed. So what does that say about your posts?

And why is all of this being bought up in a post about adding Techron to oil before an oil change? I sure as heck did not bring it up. But I am not going to allow somebody to be attacked here either.

So using Techron leads to this nonsensical claptrap.

Guess I'll advocate the use of Gumout Regane.

No, but I have a feeling you are going to.

I don't know what point you are trying to make. Is it that silence over the internet on a forum with thousands of posts makes someone guilty of something. I don't visit this site to follow your posts and answer to your demands. Why is that such a problem for you?

No I didn't. Please do not attribute things to me that I did not state.

What was it that I said that you do not agree with? So far, all I've heard you repeating is that you consider it a lecture, but you haven't once addressed the substance of what I said.

So there is nothing you don't know about the subject?

No such thing was implied by me. But it is good to know what standard we can expect from you on any religious discussions.

Merry Xmas or should I say Happy Holidays.

That it does. It's just that on my nocturnal shopping trips, I can't get it.

Now, I almost always use top tier fuels. But when I don't, I use Redline or Gumout.

Stay engine clean my friends.

Just make sure you change your oil as soon as you refill your gas.
