I drained the differential on my 96 Crown Victoria yesterday and the fluid that came out was a teal green, and still appeared to be in good condition after an unknown number of miles. I've put about 50,000 miles on the car (130,000 now) since I got it, and who knows how many miles were on the fluid when I bought it. The ring, pinion and spider gears all looked brand spanking new.
In retrospect I should have just left the fluid in because the differential cover is leaking now
Who makes a green/teal colored gear oil?
