Tea pot whistle noise from left front wheel.
car is 2004 Hyundai Elantra GLS.

disappears when:
- stopped
- higher speed (> 45mph)
- sometimes after applying brakes

few days ago sounded like the brake pad "screech" warning/indicator
so it is my pads (had some 80% meat when put them 4k miles ago), some pebble (i feel no change in braking performance) or wheel bearing?

i will open it Saturday/Sunday, but wanted to be prepared

Thanks in advance

Yeah, could be a rock between the rotor and the dust shield. They make a racket and usually go away when the rock gets worn down. I doubt a wheel bearing would get much quieter at higher speed, but maybe.
