Anyone know of these? Heard anything about them? Reputation? They are based here in the southern part of KC - so I read on their website. I like to support local businesses when possible, so I thought I'd ask the great folks here at BITOG. Thx!!

We used Taylor spiral cores for years on our race cars. Taylor made really nice unfinished wire kits so we could custom make our required lengths. I have nothing bad to say about them.

Be sure to look up Magnecore wires as well. I just put them (8.5mm) on my Truck and I would swear it runs better (slightly). They also have a considerable amount of very good technical information on their site that everyone should read before purchasing plug wires.

The thundervolt 8.2mm's sounds like a great wire for someone that cares. I've used taylor 409 pro 10.4mm on my hotstreet 1965 vw beetle and the quality is excellent.

my old setup I've used the regular 8mm spiro-pro wireset and it worked extremely well too.

For stock application typically I'll use bosch or NGK's. The quality is very good. If your going into a parts store those are more readily available (in my local area anyways)

If you wanna support your local manufacturer you cant go wrong using taylors.

For a street car I'd say use whatever you like. Longevity might be had if you buy the better quality wires with nicer insulation and quality rubber components (boots)

I've seen alot of MSD 8.5mm wiresets misfire. I'm talking from suzuki samarai's to mustang 5L. No really impressed with the MSD wires. Misfire issues is more of an issue in my books with certain brands.
