I have heard of using talcum powder to eliminate squeaks between plastic to plastic and plastic to leather surfaces.

BMW leather will creak and squeak a lot when it gets just a litle dry, especailly when the weather is hot and dry.

Any thought? TIA

Never heard of that. I always used some saddle soap or neatsfoot oil to get rid of any annoying leather to plastic squeaks. My Grand Prix was the worst for that in the rear seat...If I had rear passengers, it was terrible. I had aftermarket Katzkin leather in it. I tried a little dab of neatsfoot oil on my finger, and smeared it in the crevice between the trim panel and seatback/cushion, and it was quiet till I sold the car.

Either I'm an idiot and don't know where it is, or there isn't and edit button on this forum, but anyways...You can get saddle soap or neatsfoot oil at a tack store (they sell horse stuff) if you can't find it anywhere else. Here, I get it at Fleet Farm, but you may not have a store of this type where you are

I have use tri-flow oil just at the contact point. It has teflon and seems to work fine. However, i do worry that it might cause long term issues. Even so i do condition my leather seats a few times a year.
