Are you refering to the Universal ATF because it just says Dexron III with no (h) designation?
For the rear end would it be the Amsoil 75w/90 EXTREME GEAR fluid and you would you have to add additional Amsoil modifier 4 ounces?

You may need the additive. Which differential do you have? I'm assuming you have a limited slip diff. - you could try it neat - and after a bunch of figure 8's in both directions - if hear any interesting sounds - add either GM 1052358 or Amsoil Slip-lock

The AMSOIL gear lube is formulated for use in anti-slip rears. In over 26 years of handling the products, I've had 3 (that I can recall) who had to add additional additive.
Just be sure to go out and drive the vehicle in figure 8s after the change, to be sure the fluid is well distributed.
Should you have a slip-clack, then you can add the additive. There will be no damage--the noise would drive you out of the car before that would happen.

I would rather do everything in one shot and one visit when I have dealership do this. Otherwise this will count as two visits and two charges. Should be no harm in adding amsoil additive if it does no harm.
reyjay1 - I agree if you add too much, this could happen. I doubt it would happen with the prescribed amount of GM or Amsoil additive. My original recommendation is SVG neat.

I'd like to know... Amsoil states 25k mi OCI. Mobil 1 doesn't, but, if they're arguably similar, can't you take Mobil 1 up to 25k mi?...

For the rear end diff. and auto transmission I will decide between Redline or Amsoil or perhaps Amsoil 75w/90 Severe Gear and Redline ATF provided these meet/exceed (MOST LIKELY EXCEED) the GM SPECS.

This is the Corvette spec right? It is kind of funny as I have always heard they come factory-filled with Mobil 1 so it seems ridiculous Mobil 1 Extended Performance doesn't meet the spec. I bet it does but it hasn't been tested or certified yet or something to that extent.
Perhaps but I looked on the back of a bottle of Mobil 1 extended and compared it to the 5w30 Mobil 1 and it doesn't specify the "GM 4718M" spec.
I will say, when I was using Amsoil, I lost much less oil during the OCI than with any other brand, including M-1. I'd still like to know if M-1 would last to 25k mi as well as Amsoil claims it will.
Don't forget. AMSOIL claims 25 k miles with a 6 month oil filter change during that year, using their oil filter and one of their air filters (at the time it was the foam filter I'm not now). The SDF filter was made to hold lots of crud so I'm sure that helped the 25 K promotion. The new filter is stated for 25 K.
Does Mobil 1 claim 15 K miles ONLY with their Mobil 1 oil filter I wonder?
