I finally found a synthetic oil filter cartridge for my 2012 Equinox 4cyl.
Purolator PSL15436.
Anybody use or have a opinion on this filter?

Only worth it if you're doing an extended oil change.

From what I have seen the Bosch D+ is a better choice. So would a K&N or Mobil 1.

If you're doing 7.5k oci and that's within manufacturer spec, then a P1 / Bosch Premium would be better and cheaper.

Did you know Bosch and Purolator have "merged"?
I ordered the PSL15436 Purolator syn filters from Advance Auto, on the order receipt it said Bosch filter. So I called Purolator and asked what was what? He said the companies have merged.
So I don't think theres much difference between any of them anymore.

I special ordered a PSL15436 for my Ecotec and sent it back. It looked like it had been assembled by a little kid with a hot glue gun, who also had ADHD. Awful.

And the Puro Synthetics are worlds different from a D+. The D+ is cellulose media enhanced with synthetic fibers. The Synthetics are 100% synthetic, wire-backed media.

If the PSL15436 you get appears to be assembled decently, it will do everything the D+ or Mobil 1 will do at far less cost. (The one I ordered was only $9.99! Less than the equivalent PureONE!)

I prefer the Napa Platinum 47082 to the PSL15436. The construction is much, much better. It is also a lot more expensive ... $19.49. Worth it, imho.
