My truck is leaking at the front seal and its not worth the cost to repair it. I'd like to try to slow the leak down though so I'm looking for advice about the best synchromesh compatible transmission stop leak. Most products only seem to mention compatibility with ATF. Should I actually use a motor oil treatment like Lucas oil treatment?

Synchromesh is what my New Venture manual transmission specs for fluid. It is not traditional gear oil or motor oil. It's dripping from the front seal of the transmission housing.

I ended up using Bar's Leaks Transmission Stop Leak Concentrate. Only added about an oz because it wasn't as low as I thought it'd be. Was extremely skeptical but gave it a shot because the repair costs aren't worth it for my old truck. To my surprise, less than a week later there is no new dripping under my truck at all. I'm pleasantly shocked and would definitely recommend it and use it again in the future if ever needed.
