Switching from Syn to Dino to Blends, ea. OCI

With the Sonata 2.4, I usually switch product every OCI. By switch i mean, different brands and, syn to blend to dino etc., but rarely viscosity.

What effect if any will going from 3 oci on synthetic to 1 with conventional and so on, have if any. That is usually the pattern. No reason other than wanting to try something new.

Years ago I've tried M1, Kendall GT1, Kendall Synblend, Mobil 1 Extended Performance, Pennzoil Platinum, Pennzoil Ultra, Castrol EDGE w/Ti, all in 5W30, one brand after another in my 2007 Civic Si. They all felt similar. Nothing went wrong. Imagine that?!

Exactly what I am wanting to do with my moms Elantra. 2 or 3 5000 mile runs with Pennzoil conventional then a 7500 mile run on PP. Ill hopefully plan it to where it'll get synthetic in the winter time.. less oil changes in the cold.

switching brands of oil wont hurt anything most people throw any oil that is on sale into their crankcase with no problems

I don't think I've ever used the same oil consecutively. Runs like a top.
