Hello,

I have an old 5 ton electric log splitter (510600). Owner's manual recommends the following hydraulic oil. Unfortunately, none of the stores in my area have these types of oil. I was wondering if you can recommend a substitute. In my area, there's walmart, home depot, auto stores, and online amazon. I've been searching and found AW ISO 32. I'm not sure if this type of oil would work for my log splitter? Thank you for your time.

SP Energol HCP22
Mobil DTE11 or equivalent

Think my electric one is a 6 ton, don't recall the brand name...they are all made in China and different labels are put on.
I used 303 to top mine off, have a couple of old tractors that take 303 in their hydraulics, log splitter has been fine for 5 years now after using 303 in it. Tractor Supply always has 303 in stock, NAPA will also but at a premium.

Unless I'm missing something with your particular piece of equipment...
as long as you have the right viscosity just about any hydraulic oil or automatic transmission fluid should work.

You named all ISO 22s.

You’ll probably want to stick with an AW32. Any of those places you mentioned should have an AW32. Or find your local oil distributor.
