So the ultra is cleaning the metal right out of your engine? Can you explain this a little better?

It looks like what silver looks like when you use a tarnish remover.

no he is still here a great rebuilder its just he dont like 20w and i do
he does not fill his oil filters either when he can,,I do

milwaukee, I used 5w20 for a while now he insisted he liked the 5w30 and put up a convincing argument so i tried it and i noticed 5w20 made my engine run better, period the end i can see by your cafe comment that you dont have a clue but thats ok keep reading everyones posts and you too will begin to understand,,
As for your comment about that i seem to be very easy to influence i don't see your point if you don't try differant things you will never learn, you know what i mean?? Hmmm And as for your last comment saying and i quote: At least now we may get a break from "this guy is a master ford,,,,......,,,,,,," for a week or so. That shows me that you are reading my posts and trying your best to understand the world of oil, Im proud of you if i can help you with any other engine or oil related issues please feel free to ask :)

I use what the factory says to use in almost all the engines we rebuild... And as for Sopus i happen to like their products

Me too, but change "rebuild" to "use" since I haven't rebuilt an engine myself in a lot of years.

As for SOPUS, Rotella T5 may become a fill for my Audi 200 (after I try my GC and start clearing my stash). The weight is good for it for winter and summer, and the price isn't half bad either. That brings me to my next point. Why can I find Mobil sales and sales on all the SOPUS products, but never on Rotella? Grrr....

again its his opinion and i tried it.. as for an expert he has been doing this all his life as i have been doing this since i was 15 way before i was the owner and he has worked for ford for many many years..
I have heard the same exact opinions (many different) from the guys that belong to the national engine rebuilders association so maybe there is more to this than meets the eye or maybe it doesnt make a differance either way... In January we will have spokespeople from two major oil companies coming to our meetings with their opinion also i will let everyone know what they think..

I've been playing with, driving and modding Mod motors since 1996, I have yet to experience a 4.6 running better on 5W-20 and I've experimented with that a lot.
