I don't think the answer has changed since the first time you posted about this..

Yes, I guess so, sorry! Thanks

Whenever I was working on my older cars I would always find out that aftermarket suspension parts would always change the ride of the car. And rarely for the better. The OEM part number for your spring is 3W7Z-5560-AA. Me, I would search high and low, for these springs. Discontinued from Ford but some Googling shows that there may be some promise in finding a pair

I installed Moog CC865 on my 2001 Grand marquis because the OE springs were sagging. These "heavy duty" cargo coils sag just as bad and the car still sits low in the back compared to the front. Even my little 500 pound ATV on a lightweight homemade utility trailer will have it bottoming out the rear suspension.

So, you said this is not working, with this brand or this will never change no matter what I do? What do you think why even you change new coils they are in this condition! Thanks

I put the CC865 springs in my 2011 Crown Vic LX. They worked great for me: the original springs rode fine empty, but a couple of adults in the back seat or anything more than a load of groceries in the trunk had the headlights pointing at the moon. These improved the condition by quite a bit and didn't affect ride quality.

Without air, the factory suspension on these cars is kind of hot garbage for the dimensions of the car. Unlike cars today, the rear axle is tucked pretty far in, rear seat directly over with a ton of trunk overhang. A lot is asked of the factory rear springs and they were barely adequate when new. Sacked out after a short time. All of them should have come with air springs or air assist shocks for some load leveling capability.

Thanks, I will take a note for this.

Get used police springs from a u-pull it.
I would never put used springs which are rusted in my car. Chances of finding rust free ones in a junk yard is slim. Every spring which broke on my many Fords were rusted. To me , it's not worth the effort removing coil springs at a boneyard to put on my vehicle, especially ones from a police vehicle.

Hi, I bought these springs CC865, they are coming with the insulators, but I didn't know that cause they weren't shown in the description, so I bought Moog K6203-2 Insulators, and I realized the rubber material is softer than the others are coming with the springs, they said only made in USA, but not showing the brand. Which one do you recommend to install? Softer or harder material of the insulators? Thanks
