Sure oil filter SFO 5313 cut and post

This was a Sure Brand oil filter for a 5.7 GM non-oil cooler engine. Made in Indonesia. Came from RockAuto and sold as an UltraPower with a Wix style part number for $0.58 each. Very heavy filter and seems well built. Nitrile is still supple, media is thick and flexible and the end caps are snug wth lots of glue. I ordered three, cut this one and will use the other two. Prior to this, I’d never seen a Sure filter before.

If you ran it for the duration, that would tell much more. Most virgin filters look good.

I noticed it read Sugar Land, TX. on the filter. The brown sugar I use is made in Sugar Land, TX.
Anyway, it looks like a good oil filter. Thanx for the C&P.
