This is my 21 Lexus NX 300 hybrid with 60k miles. I ran ST Syn 0w-20 for 10,023 miles. I used a Toyota oil filter. This is their 10k variant. I do about 80 miles per day for work. I do 90% highway driving. I floor it daily since this car has no power and I need to merge.

Excellent results for your mileage on that 0w-20. 12k suggestion is reasonable and seem to be easy miles for your 2.5L. Thanks

Florida, 80 miles a day, mostly highway, abslolutely. Very nice.

I'm in South Carolina, also have an 80 mile a day commute (when I go to office, which is not every day.) Probably 50-60 miles of the commute is highway. I have a DI engine though, so still sticking with 5K. I may do a UOA around the 25K mark and see if I can creep it up a bit.

4.3 TBN after 10,000 miles is still kinda impressive, even with the highway miles.

Gotta make you feel good, great report!

DSMDriver, may I ask how long after you sent the sample did you receive your report? I'm waiting on analysis and was curious on the current turnaround time. :)

2.5 weeks total turnaround time

Nice 10k mile results.

Super Tech oils with their Dexos 1 Gen 3 approval, and $18.64 for a 5 quart jug, are the best value in motor oils in my opinion.
They have high amounts of anti-wear additives (phosphorous + zinc) and high amounts of detergent additives (Calcium).

Also, their anti-tamper protection on the spout gives some added protection against someone returning used oil in the new container.

To open the 5 quart jug, I use an exacto knife to remove the 2 layer paper + plastic spout protection.
Then I use a stainless steel funnel with a strainer to be 100% sure none of the spout protection dropped into the oil.

@Bill7 — so the cheapest oil at ChinaMart also has a pain in the finger security seal? 😆😂🤣 classic.

The Premium $29.99 Valvoline has no annoying seal to mess with.

God Bless America. 🫡
