I just did a comparo today between the ST5 and the PF1218.
Inlet and Outlet holes

Delco

AC Delco has a .760" diameter outlet with an area of .447 in^2. It has 5 inlet holes .300" diameter yielding a total inlet area of .353 in^2
Super Tech
Super Tech is identical as far as outlet but differs in inlet holes. It has 4 inlet holes with a diameter of .282" and 1 inlet hole with a diameter of .350". This results in a total inlet area of .346 in^2.

Filter elements and surface area

Delco

Element is taller than super tech but has deaper pleats. The media is 4.5" x 69" resulting in a surface area of 310.5"
Super Tech
Element is shorter but has more pleats with less depth but pleats are closer together. The media is 4.0" x 85" resulting in a surface area of 340 in^2.

ADBV, endcaps, Can thickness
The Delco ADBV is larger and thicker and made of rubber. It has more tension and creates a very strong sealing pressure between the element and the end cap.
The Super Tech has a smaller ADBV which I made of thinner but much more pliable material. Not quite as strong as the Delco one but has worked just as well in my real life tests. I'd give the Delco an advantage here.

Both the Delco and Super Tech share a wall thickness of .145 in.

Both filters use metal endcaps. Both also feature perforated metal tubes on the inside of the elements. The Delco focuses on using fewer larger holes whereas the Super Tech uses a lot more holes but smaller. Later I'll calculate the sum total area of the Delco and Super Tech tubes for comparison.

FYI: I picked up another PF1218 from Pep Boys and it is identical to the Super Tech. The Delco used in this test however was a Delphi.
