Was at Walmart this morning, yeah it seems that the Supertech MP filters aren't being restocked, couldn't find any MP9688. I think its a move to move volume of the branded filters on the higher shelfs.
The Endurance filters I checked today many have closed or thinly opened louvers. I'll pass until QC improves or they moved to punched holes or ecore center tubes.
I always got the MP10575 for my Silverado and Enclave, since it’s basically an AC Delco PF63 with a Walmart sticker slapped on it. Haven’t seen any at my store in months. But I also don’t ever see the ST10575.
I believe the Supertech white cased filter replacement for the PF63 is the ST12750 not ST10575...check that against what your Silverado and Enclave call for in a Supertech filter...agree that I haven't seen the MP10575 filter for our PF63 replacement for many months...
The “guide plate” is back for the OE Plus filters at CT. or at least on the 10060. It looks like a Champ and the same as the old Supertech MP. However, I see now that the date on the filter appears to 11/07/23. CT moves a lot of these filters. Funny these old ones showed up. If you like them, check your store.
That's interesting. So, the date code on the previous XL shown in post #25 without the plate was from prior to Nov of 2023? 'If' not could be an explanation.
I read a reason on this subforum for the plate being removed, but without more corroboration 'I' consider it hearsay. I think Champ's explanation for using it was solid. Of course, after my bypass seal area finding with c&p of MP7317, another factor to think about. Also, unlike MMXL shown most of the MP used an ecore tube.
