Is this stuff any good?

The price makes it comparable to the other full synthetic gear oils out there... IIRC ST 75W-140 is about $9/qt.

Well, I don't know anything about it.......but for 9 bucks a quart, I would use something that is a proven performer........such as RP or redline. Just my opinion.

I went to Wal-Mart a few days ago and checked out ST 75W-140. Yes at $8.89 it's cheaper than Mobil 1 75W-140 selling for $16.99. Interesting to note that ST's color appears to be green. Unfortunately no datasheet could be found anywhere.

There is a Royal Purple dealer on this site. Check the sponsors section and if at all possible, please patronize the people who make this site possible.

That's the problem with SuperTech synthetic gear oils. They are priced at a point where Red Line and other premium synthetic brands are no more expensive. So why not go with something you know will work well rather than a big fat question mark?

I just put SuperTech Full synth 75w140 in the rear diff of my 2001 F350.

We will see how it works I guess.

I would have liked to find something else, but I couldn't find anything local less than $14/quart.

ST seems to be the only synthetic 75W-140 I can find in town also. Hopefully they do a rollback soon to $7.50 or something. Im too lazy to keep ordering oil off the internet.
