any filter should be able to take you to 5000 easy(as long as it isn't a fram extra guard, then your fine). Its also basically the same as the bosch premium, so I wouldn't see why not. Btw, i run the bosch prem. for about 5-5500 mi oil changes with Mobil 1 0w20.

I cut open the Supertech ST2 and the equivalent Motorcraft FL820S and in my opinion both filters where very high quality.

I wouldn't hesitate to run the Supertech Filter (at least the ST2) for 5000 to 7500 miles.

The only thing I didn't like is that Ford uses a silicone anti-drain back valve and the ST2 uses rubber. Also the old ST2's had the bypass valve at the open end while the newer ones have it at the closed end.

Right now I have a selection of FL820S variants and I use whatever I feel appropriate at the time.

I've got a stash of Motorcraft FL820S, Supertech ST2, Advance Auto AA2, Amsoil SDFII, Wix 51372 to name a few. I think I'm going filter happy!

It's a stupid question but I'd like to know Supertech filters are good for up to 5,000 miles? Haven't used one of these before and I'd like to get a consensus before I do so. Getting ready to use it on a '04 Sienna and Mobil 1 5w30. It should last me through until February provided I don't take any road trips in between. Thanks.
