Yes the Dex VI should be fine! I plan on useing it myself in Moms Tundra and here Camry. I would not add things like Lucas to anything that is working fine. The Lucas stop slip transmission additive is designed to try and fix transmissions with a problem usually from not having their fluid changed often enough if ever. All it does is make the thin worn out fluid thicker and it adds in seal swelling agents that are already in transmission fluid. SO why would you want to dump bright stock and seal swelling agents into a transmission that is working fine and is getting new fluid?? That is like getting a blood transfusion just for the heck of it it does not make any sense???!!!
Same thing for the Pure Synthetic Stabalizer what point is their to useing it???? You change your oil regularly correct? For the price of that stuff you could just use synthetic oil in the first place....
Lucas's fuel injector cleaner is ok stuff I like it and use it even though I know their are better products out their. I have used their transmission additive before as well to nurse a dieing transmission just a little longer but I would never put that stuff in anything working correctly. The worst product I have ever seen is Lucas's traditional Oil Stablizer it is nothing but bright stock which is cheap low grade sticky gooey oil that has low flash point and is dirt in general.
A guy I worked with bought a GMC truck off a guy cheap. The guy said he always changed his oil at 3000 miles and he used a bottle of Lucas every oil change. The problem was the truck was about 4 years old and ahad about 50,000 to 70,000 miles and burnt oil like mad. It was another GM worker that my friend bought this truck off of. He got it dirt cheap. My friend took it apart expecting to need to rebuild the engine or at the very least get new pistons and rings and lightly hone the bores. When he got it apart all the pistons rings where glued for lack of a better word to the pistons and. He soaked the pistons in B12 chemtool over night and the next day he took them apart and used a ring grove cleaner to them all. They where all still like new and with in specifications. So he decided to use new rings just to play it safe but he reused the pistons and bearing and everything else except the gaskets. Last I checked he was still driving it and it had close to 200,000 miles on it.
All we can figure is that the Lucas basically congealed and stuck the rings and did not allow them to seal properly.So I am not a huge fan of additives that are nothing more then super thick oil or cheap VII's. I prefer additives that are basicly nothing but AW and EP additives in a carrier oil if I want thicker oil I can buy thicker oil.
