Supertech Asian or Prestone Asian ?

Used HONDA Genuine pre-mixed BLUE as top off in the '18 HYUNDAI Accent that has GREEN coolant without issues . The BLUE dye is the only difference as far as I'm aware . May want to to take a look at thread below .

Picked it up. Then ran it through the walmart MSDS. Looks like its " Old World Industries"View attachment 251440
I wonder how accurate this is. Just picked up one dated 17.01.25 that's in the bottle style of the Prestone ones. UPC 074804078107 matches your 1748103 MSDS.

It doesn't list any 2eha, whereas the supertech dexcools show potassium 2eha and sodium 2eha.

I just did full flushes on my 2011 Lexus RX350 80kmi and 2012 Toyota Sienna 120k mi. Both were still on the factory fill. I'll say this, both still looked like brand new coolant, not one speck of debris or anything. If I had taken it to a dealer and they told me they flushed the coolant, but really didn't, I'd never know. I replaced with Peak Asian concentrate, only because it's the only concentrate you can get (at least anywhere near me), otherwise I would've used OEM Toyota pink for sure. And even now after the fact I wonder if I'd been better off just doing a drain & fill with the 50/50 Toyota coolant, given how pristine it was after 14 years.

pro tip - those spill proof coolant funnels are a game changer when doing coolant flushes, how did I ever do this without one?

I would never go long on coolant in a 2GR. They aren't typically problematic but why risk head gaskets?

FWIW, between the petcock on the radiator and the one on the rear of the block (and open the vent on the top of the motor) it's an easy job. Those two drains and you get >90% of the coolant out. Short section of hose, right into a bucket, clean job.

Toyota pink is OAT with sebecate (no 2EHA) and I prefer to keep it that way. $65 at the dealer every 5 years on a PM item isn't going to kill me on a car that continues to cost me basically nothing in repairs.

there's another drain plug on the block? I didn't know that. I did use the bleeder screw on top and purged a bunch of coolant that way, but I didn't know you easily drain the block too. good tip for the future, thx.

There's one on the front of the block, but you won't get to it. It's behind the exhaust manifold and/or oil cooler lines.

The one on the back of the block is above the driveshaft. You can't miss it. On AWD setups it might be less obvious but on FWD it's a cakewalk.
