Just did an oil change on my 2010 Highlander, with the 2GR-FE.
I go by the maintenance reminder in the vehicle, but I also track the miles and this one has about 4800 miles on it when the light came on saying I need to do a change.
What I found interesting was that the media would come off the filter if you rubbed it. Like it was shedding.
