Dude, go large with a quart of Lucas Oil Pure Synthetic Oil Stabilizer, no messing around

I have a 5 qt jug of CarQuest/FRAM 20W50 that a buddy gave me. I use it for adding to the Firebird’s crankcase should need be during the season. Also, I mix with lower grade oils from the cars oils and use it in the OPE. I’ve mixed it in another jug of Frankenbrew(0W20, 5W30, 10W30/40). I don’t know at point what grade I’ve created but the OPE’s love it!

Thats what I used in my scout before I knew better. My HS autoshop teacher was not always right.

There are worse oils for that. I suspect it would run just fine.
