Maxlife 20W-50

I have been changing the oil in a disabled friends old beater 76 F-100. I used the last of his Maxlife 20W-50 stash the last OC. The local Wal-Marts do not carry any 20W-50 except a very limited quantity of ST. Mr friend is adamant about his preference for 20W-50 Maxlife. Any suggestions as to who might carry this oil?

Castrol will forever carry 20w50, it made them famous. I would think this is a Great deal and can be had for $13 a jug(5 qt) at Walmart. I dont think you would be trading down. Castrol GTX is very popular in this weight with alot of people, there must be a reason.

Kragen in my city in So Cal has Maxlife 20W-50 but it's pricey at $5.29/qt, almost as much as Syn oil and this store also has Maxlife Full Synthetic. Chevron and Shell 20W50 are $3.29/qt.

Oreilly and Sears carries Maxlife 20W50.

^^Do as Panzerman said. Use the GTX 20W50. I used that stuff forever years back.I always felt it was one of the best oils.
