Whats the story with Supercedeing parts, Im currently looking at Toyota OEM Spiral coil (clockspring) parts number(s) 84306-48030 which was superceded to 84306-0E010, reason being the -48030 number is being sold on EBAY in Toyota OEM wrapping for considerably less than the -0E010 version by non-Toyota dealer parts sellers. it may seem to me that during the years 2005-2012 Toyota tacoma years there was a Recall on the clocksprings which Im theorizing maybe the -48030 versions that are left overs from this recall, and that slicksters(non official Toyota parts dealers) are selling them off at a discounted price without the public buyers not knowing the difference. the recall was about this clocksprings having a flaw which would possibly not activate the air bag when needed. could this be in the realm of possibility cause i could buy the -48030 on Fleabay for $113 free shipping etc as opposed to a -0E010 from a legit toyota seller for over twice the money.
