Super tech oil sold in California

I bought some 5w-20 Synthetic yesterday, bottom of the container says "LEE"
Best I can figure it's packaged in Missouri by Lee Helms

I'd read that super tech was packaged by Citco or Warren or even mobil
I've never heard of Lee Helms

ps I even read somehwere that LEE was the mfg of the container

you Guys know any facts about Lee Helms Lubricants ?

Take a picture of the bottle for us

not just the bottom, but the front of the bottle as well

The shape of the bottle will help identify what oil it is.

Interesting. The Warren PP made ST have either WPP, WNE or WSE imprinted on the bottom.

First I've heard of Lee Helms. Looks like they provide Gulf and Brad Penn labeled products.

Doesn't Lee also make bottles for a weed killer?

I can't remember the particulars, but I do recall someone saying they literally came in the same jug. Probably the 4 quart HDEO if I had to guess, but same shape nonetheless.

I know Roundup and the old Meijer brand oils (5.1qt jugs) were both in the same jugs from plastipak. their products have a stylized P on the bottom. They make containers for all kinds of folks though, from tide to sweet baby Ray's BBQ sauce, to Roundup, etc..

Don't confuse plastic packaging with oil bottling. Two different companies help comprise that purchase you made. Others too.

What's the difference? If it concerns you, return the ST oil and buy a more name brand product...

If you live in STL, Lee Helms is out by the airport. Nice folks, knowledgeable, but not a bottle or oil manufacturer, just a distributor. They are the local BradPenn contact, and were able to get the hens teeth 10w30 diesel for me.

Note Dexos on the lable LEE is surrounded by a "Q" perhaps it's a quaker state logo
