i bought some of this stuff and have been using it for a few months now. i bought it purely on price point, $2.97 for a 32 ounce jug i think it was. it doesnt get sudsy at all and i pour the stuff liberally straight onto a sponge. ive used half the jug and am very dissapointed.

Meguiar's Gold Class is one of the best retail bought car soaps. Zymol's soap works very good too. It also smells like coconut!

Honestly, I don't see why you are complaining. You mentioned price point was the reason you bought it. If you are buying you can't expect miracles. Honestly, I don't see what saving two dollars on a quality car wash will get you. You have to use twice as much of the Supertech garbage, so you run out quicker and need to buy again.

Agree with the above post, I have some ST car wash as well. Nothing special. You do get what you pay for sometimes. My next purchase will probably be the Gold Class car wash.

I bought a gallon of Turtle Wax-brand Ice-something carwash at Costco; it works quite well. I use whatever Costco sells in large containers on tires, wheels, and fenderliners and Zaino concentrated carwash on the rest. The latter is the best stuff I've ever used.

I also bought a gallon of the TW Ice Car Wash a Costco. A gallon for $6.99. It does a decent job but then again, my cars don't get very dirty so I've never put it to a big test.

Duragloss. The smell isn't very pleasant if you don't like cherries, but it work excellent. Nice suds, slickness, and no spotting.

Best car soap I've found so far has been Auto Magic's Wash & Wax. I was also impressed with Duragloss' wash, but Auto Magic is the clear leader. It has a bubble-gum smell to it, and it's a thick pink gel.

The supertech purple car wash is terrible.

When it pours like water out of the jug, you know its going to be terrible.

I have had good luck using blue coral wash, its just as cheap as the supertech, and its much thicker, more like a soap than water.

I didn't care much for Auto Armor car wash either. My sister purchased a big jug of it at Wal-Mart and it didn't work for beans. Left water marks and streaks everywhere. Lovin' my Zaino show car wash though, works great!

You'd think it would be difficult to screw up a car shampoo, but some companies manage to do it.

Zaino Z7 is the best shampoo I've ever used. Duragloss 901 is also terrific and worth it if you have a Carquest auto parts close by. For the national brand stuff I like Meguiars NXT shampoo over Meguiars Gold Class, if only for the aroma. Mothers Calif Gold shampoo is also excellent and a nice, mild product which is good for those cars not disgustingly dirty. Eagle One shampoo is also very good, and can be found almost free with rebates and stuff.

No reason to keep using the crummy stuff. Just throw it out and spend a few bucks on a good shampoo. A jug of NXT or Gold Class is less than $10.00.
