My Walmart had Super Tech Full Synthetic European Formula 0w-40 so I snagged a bottle.
Quart was manufactured in March of 2025
API SN, LL-01, MB 229.5, 229.3, VW 502/505, A40, ACEA A3/B4, 0710/0700

I mailed the sample to Oil Analyzers Indianapolis on Monday and received the report by Wednesday. On my submission form I did not include product brand or information. Only product viscosity grade.

This is interesting, because from what I could find online, the Mag1 0W40 (also Warren) that most presume is the same as ST 0W40 has a 12.8 cST @100c viscosity rating whereas this VOA shows 14.1 @ 100c.

So not safe for LSPI at risk motors like my 2.0T LTG?
Calcium is wayyyyy too high to prevent LSPI. I remember reading a post from Dave at HPL. I think the synopsis was once you get above 1400-1500ppm Calcium, there’s no way to reduce LSPI with other additives like Moly. Even some oils like Valvoline Advanced and Extended Protection have really high calcium for a Dexos oil that aims to prevent LSPI, but can still pass testing due to 200-300 ppm Moly.

Edit: not from an HPL post. It was a post above theirs on the same thread. My numbers were off a bit, haven’t read the post in a year, will attach pictures below.
