Super Tech FS prices have increased again

Wasn’t Warren Industries sold a few months ago? If so, it appears the price increases coincides with the sale and change in business philosophy, maybe.

They were. The new company is called Highline Warren. Also, they didn't even redirect their old site to the new one  :poop:

At least with the new Highline name, it's easier to distinguish from Warren Oil (Coastal) :D

Now I wish I would have checked the in store price for Costco Kirkland oil when I was there last night. The 6 qts of M1 for $30 isn’t such a bad deal now! Maybe they have a supply contact with Warren that will expire at some point.

I JUST bought some ST 20W50 V-twin motorcycle oil earlier this week for $5.78/qt and you guys are correct, overnight it went up to $8.43.

Edit: ST 10W40 moto/atv oil is now more expensive than Valvoline! When you look up 5W30, ST 10K mile > Pennzoil's black label syn.
ST is the new Amazon Basics. Still good oil, but not good, cheap, oil. What the heck are those guys doing?!?!
Same thing with merc dex gallon jugs of supertech being more expensive than valv merc dex. like 4 bucks more. Castrol transmax is now a dollar cheaper than valvoline maxlife atf which went up in price a bit. Stuffs ridiculous.

The 2 5-qt box is about $30 in stores. I think you can get 4 5-qt box for $65 online.

I bought both Valvoline gear oil and Valvoline Dex VI for less than ST - I think many here would do the same

My 8 discount 12/qt boxes of M1 HM 5W20 for $1/qt is like liquid gold. The Chevron Supreme 5W30 SB for $5/jug is good too.

I guess my kids will come visit more when they need oil changes...LOL!!!!
I had covid really bad back in Spring and my daughter went to a Valvoline in CT. She paid about $100.00.

I bought 8-5qt jugs of Valvoline 5w30 synthetic for $21/jug last month along with oil filters for the fleet, because I figure this was coming, and oil and filters don’t go bad. Makes sense to buy and store a bit to ride through any short term price increases or shortages.

Starting to see crazy prices for Mobil, Valvoline and others on Amazon. It appears 0w16 and 0w20 are hardest hit. Individual 5qt jugs aren’t offered for some, only 1qt or 3-5qt jug packs at inflated price.

It looks like ST (Warren) is under new managment and wants to make their money back. I wonder if they will kill the golden goose. That oil was a bargain at $5.78. But, at $8.43... nope. I won't buy any more of it. I'll use Mobil-1 15W-50 which is $5.49/qt (five quart jug). I don't think the Kawasaki engine in my mower will know the difference.
