Another filter from Schwinney. Oil looked kinda rough but filter looks good.

To my eye, looks excellent. Worth~ $3. And tight uniform pleating in the small 6607 package equals zero cause for concern with the ecore cage shown here. Interestingly, topic application has never been an ecore until Champ came out with this hybrid design, ecore with metal endcaps. Never a combo valve.

I just looked into a ecore ACDelco PF46E (production date of the 281st day of 2021), and here's what I see. These openings are about half the size. I'm comfortable in using this filter on my 2004 Silverado 5.3, with a spacing such as this.

That said, these are not the same filter for the same applications. But the openings are clearly smaller on this one.

This filter was the first one that had it's full run after the HPL EC product. Put on about 1000 miles after adding.. taken off 4000-5000 miles after that.

Here’s a video of the st3506 cut open. It’s the equivalent of the Pf46e…looks like they’re identical twins
