Super Bowl Miami

The good news is every single hotel room will be sold out in Miami Beach and the surrounding area....People are also renting out their houses and condos for up to 6K bucks...The owners do not have a issue going to another county to stay in a hotel...They said the rental money will pay for some of the taxes on the property...The temperature should be in the 80's.

The bad news there is only a sprinkling of rental cars to go around due to the Toyota issue...I guess the taxis will be very busy.

After some of the drunkin parties in those houses, it will cost more than 6K for the repairs.

I'm sure some people about to lose their house to foreclosure are renting it out as a way of making some easy money so it really doesn't matter if it gets trashed.

Just got back from Louisiana a few weeks ago, so I'll go for the Saints.

Even Miami Beach is gridlocked...I was down there today and last night...From 5TH to 15TH Street [for those that know the area] traffic was not moving and their were cops everywhere stopping cars for minor traffic infractions.

BTW LT4 VETTE the Versace mansion is shut down on Ocean Drive due to finacial problems...That is the last place that I would ever expect to shut down...Some lawyer handling the finances of the mansion really screwed up that place...A friend of mine knows the owner and she hopes to have it open in the near future...It has been shut down now for weeks.

Yeah, I saw on TV about the mansion being shut down. I notice you go to Miami Beach a lot.

When my wife and I go there we always eat at Master's Pizza on Alton right next to Boston Market. Miami Beach really gets bad when the Hip Hop Weekend comes to town.

I have to go with the Saints also. My wife lived in NO for several years and also attended LSU's nursing school back in the 70s so you know in order to keep peace.....I have to go with the Saints and LSU in sports.

Plus, I think the Saints deserve to win, judging from their past records.

latest I heard, Indy's Dwight Freeny has a torn ligament in his ankle and won't play in the superbowl. Saints D have already crushed Kurt Warner into retirement and Brett Favre. Peyton is a statue back there and the Saint's d-coordinator said they will take late hit penalty's.
