Advice on a tire for my 2011 Camry LE. Hot summer & rain, long trip on highways:
  1. Falken ZE960
  2. Defender 2
  3. Nokain WRG5
Let me know. I have Sentury Touring all-season (ideal for commute).

I have Defender 2 on my 2023 Blazer. 7k miles so far. No regrets very happy with them. Oil change and tire rotation at 5k miles. I got 49k with the factory Michelin tires hoping the same or better with the Defenders. Tire size is 235/55/20.

If they make them in your size, you might consider the Cooper Evolution Plus-I put them on the Vue I bought (215/70R16), they ride really well, are halfway not horrible in snow, and seem to be wearing pretty well so far. Sam’s Club often has a pretty good price too, they were~$115 each when I bought them.

Yeah is snow a factor? If so, do you have snow tires?

I’ve been very happy with the Goodyear reliant tires I got on special Black Friday sale, and even the store brand USA made Douglas tires that I got there.

On other vehicles I have coopers that I’m happy with.

Can’t go wrong with the defenders, for sure.

If it’s just a sofa-like run of the mill Camry I’d probably be looking for quality over anything else. Though I wonder if a higher speed rated/firmer tire would provide some benefit?

What size…215-60-16?
What is your budget?
Are you looking for ride comfort or handling?
There are several other tires that I’d choose over your 3 choice for a Camry & highway travel.
Also, what type of longevity are you looking to get; approximately how many miles would you be hoping for with the tires you buy? How long will you be keeping this Camry?
I’ve checked TireRack in the size that I suspect you have and there are several very good tires below $150/tire that I’d choose. Some even below $130/tire.
