That is correct. The FRAM PH9715 is only referenced for 2005 - 20012 Subaru 2.0 and 2.5 EJ2XX engines and some Saab 9-2x models using the same engine. Also "ExtraGuard" isn't stamped anywhere on the filter. It just says FRAM PH9715.
