stripper $12995 focus

Where's the side airbag located? If its not in the seat you could do a drivers seat swap with a fancier one.
Doing those kind of miles you might find that a good seat is needed. Not much is really fancy about my "top of the line" focus, but the seat is pretty good and with the height adjustable bottom seat cushion, I can get the lumbar support at the right height for me as well as getting the arm rests into range.

Speaking of poorly rated, inexpensive new cars....I actually like the Mitsubishi Mirage. It can be had for less than any Focus, and will likely last just as long if you don't mind an older style floaty ride (more comfortable anyway), and the tiny car styling. It get's fantastic mileage and comes in either CVT or stick.

That would be my choice in inexpensive cars right now.


The Mirage is bigger inside than the Focus. And that inline 3 sounds pretty awesome wound up

I was thinking the same thing. I'd drive one. Probably will once my kids start driving.
