Here is the VOA for STP 0w30 motor oil. No idea why it says 10w30 as lady called to confirm it is 0w30.

Looks serviceable

I agree 110%Not a good oil for mitigating LSPI, very high calcium. Not a great oil for a DI engine, especially turbos. Is this an API-SP oil? Doesn't look like it.
Thank you for posting this. Appreciate it.
EDIT: Looked it up, it meets requirements for an SN oil, not SP.
Looks like a good oil if you don't have a DI engine, but for the price, better choices.

Yeah, you folks get MOTUL. Snagglefoot drools over it as much he posts about itI like it, a bit more Ca and B than other Euro. 0W-30 formulations. Wish we got it up here.

2. Calcium is not "very high." It is middle of the road (Mobil1 ESP 0W30 which has MB229.52 approval that has LSPI tests has similar calcium level).
3. Zinc is relatively high. We established a LONG time ago that ZDDP has a mitigating effect on LSPI. It could have higher Phosphorous levels, like Castrol Edge 0W30 (therefore it is API SL) but it is OK.
This is pretty good package for ACEA C3 oil. It is DI engine oil. It is Low-SAPS oil designed for diesel engines with DPF and gasoline DI engines with or without GPF.
