Thank You for adding to HDEO VOA list
Its a dual rated oilI have been thinking about using this oil. Not sure what the VOA says or how it applies, but i venture to say that Mobil knows what they are doing.
I thought that the max Calcium was lower than that, for SP Certification?
Right, the newer formula is SP......should be pretty good oil for dual use. "Syn Blend", HTHS of 3.6 per Mobil site, and cheap, 15 bucks a gallon. Its a dual rated oil
would need to see the back of bottle to determine if its API SN or API SP.
CK-4 came out in 2016
Think they're some "loop holes" for how API allows dual rated oils. This oil has had low P for a while now so SP would've been an easy decision for Mobil. I know I've read they've run tests w/this oil for long extended drains of >25k. Rebate time makes this oil real cheap!I have been thinking about using this oil. I think for the money it is hard to beat.Found this Delvac 10w30 at Walmart, and right now using it in my beat up old 383 Road Runner.
I usually use Super Tech in everything, but sometimes that gets boring and I try something else.
Use this in my 03 hyundai elantra. There is less valve train noise than say rotella t4 10w30. I got it for $14 per gallon.Anyone use this in their stuff?
