Store oil in different bottle?

Lame question but I tried search & couldn't get an exact confirmation:
I have a bottle of PP that looks like it could crack any moment.
The cap is still unbroken but the bottle itself could cause problems in my basement 1 day.

is it okay to pour the PP into another empty bottle for use later on?

Get a piece of masking tape and mark the front label with it's contents name using a Sharpie.
