Stock Average Calculator

No I'm not but I just want something simple to get the real price average usually in a hurry.

Last week I did 7 transactions on one stock in one day,
4 sales and 3 buys (20,000 shares)...it was giving good up and down ranges. The app can't keep up and the average price it shows is highly inaccurate.

Do they mess up your 1099 cost basis or just the real time basis?

So it just doesn't populate fast enough, or the data is actually incorrect?

Next time I buy or sell something I will need to watch. I don't day trade so speed was not really something I paid attention to.

It's Robinhood and I use it as I can trade in my sleep as I have it setup as basic. RH puts up blocks for pattern day traders trust me. I think some trade at a loss because they don't understand if you partial trade your stock their system average price is worthless. Totally inaccurate and possibly for a reason I stated. I'm getting good interest there but I know the games they play...So this quick and easy average url does the job. I keep the details in my head but I like to double check...
If you bought and sold the same number of shares the problem goes away.
But if you partial sell or constantly add shares their avg cost info is totally bogus... if your new you may think you are up and sell at a loss...

They do it intentionally to deter day traders.

Exactly........they have a bag of little tricks...they act like it's illegal...
They have me only available to use my own money...they shut me down several times but for no legit reason. After I went only on my own funds they went away. I never used their money anyway.

I stay because I get good interest.
It used to be the rule was $25k allowed 3 day trades a week and then if you went to four they'd lock you down.

My trick is I lay low and hit them out of the blue with volume trades and then go away again for awhile...lol

I bought 60k shares of Ford that day and dumped them off through the day...lol

It's all a game....
