Stew with Dumplings

Stew (zucchini steamed separately) with a Bavarian potato dumpling. Celery root salad and lingonberries (for the stew) on the side.

In case you think this looks gay, I eat 5 times that amount out of a trough like the rest of you would do.

Only stew I usually have zuchini in is ratatouille

Looks good mori...pork or rabbit for the meat ?

It's pork. I'm cutting down on rodent meat.

Most often I don't follow recipes or rules when cooking. Most Bavarians would have a heart attack if they were to see a potato dumpling in a stew. By the way, there are 3 three more dumplings in the bowl that prop up the top one in a photogenic manner.

Just my view of things, butt Bavarians are anal about the wrong things occasionally.

That much time around hot Rod will make you lose your appetite too. Dumplings again I see. Moribundman, you're just a big flaming chef and bon vivant, which I mean as a compliment.

I found that dumpling mix; they have it at my regular grocery ($2.80).

Nothing finer than fried rabbit! Lean slightly toward tame butchered. Even the best of cleaning and you'll ocasionally miss a lead pellet wrapped in fur

No matter how good it tastes,,that'll kill my appetite!
